Your Board do hope you will be able to attend our sixteenth Annual General Meeting. It is to be held at 8.00pm on Wednesday the 21st of March in The Aldersgate Lounge, Hatfield Road Methodist Church, 133b Hatfield Road, St Albans (Next to the CU office).

The agenda for the AGM is noted below and copies of the audited accounts for the year to the 30th of September 2017 and minutes of the previous AGM are available from the CU Office or from our website. They will also be available at the meeting. Your directors invite you to come along and hear how your Credit Union has performed during the year, as well as news of progress and future plans. There will be the opportunity for attendees to make comments or ask questions.

The meeting will be followed by light refreshments.

It is the intention of the Board to propose a dividend of 0.3%; this will be paid on average balances held over the year to 30th September 2017. If approved, this will count towards your Personal Savings Allowance which is £1,000 for basic rate taxpayers and £500 for higher rate taxpayers. Alternatively, you can decline your dividend by writing to the Treasurer, David Edwards, or by e-mailing him ( no later than 31 March, in which case, your dividend will be added to credit union funds available for lending.
