Harpenden branch reaches 10 year milestone

This September the Harpenden branch of the St Albans District Credit Union is celebrating ten years of operation in the town. The branch was opened on Saturday 8 September 2007 by Peter Lilley, former MP and the Town Mayor and was initially located in th Southdown Methodist Church Halls, before moving to its present location in the High Street Methodist Church. During that time the branch has been run solely by a team of local volunteers and it continues to open each Saturday between 10.00am and 12.00 noon. We would like to thank both the High Street Methodist Church and the Southdown Methodist Church for their generous support over the ten year period.
